The eternal mint Lesabre has returned. It seems like this guy puts it up for sale in the first quarter every year. With the same photos and description with some minor changes(this year the exhaust gasket is leaking, last year the door key cylinder needed changing). Makes me wonder if he just isn’t getting offers, if he isn’t actually trying to sell it, or if it bears no resemblance to what is pictured/described.

My grandpa had pretty much this exact car when I was growing up. Same model, same year, same color, same interior, probably the same engine. I loved it. Not quite as much as I loved my dad’s ‘73 Oldsmobile Delta 88 coupe or ‘88 Trans Am GTA, but I was pretty sad when my grandpa traded it in ‘99 or ‘00 for a ‘98 Buick LeSabre. He is now 85 and drives a Buick Lucerne, presumably because they don’t make LeSabres anymore.

Surprised some brotha hasn’t bought it and put 26's on it.

80's LeSabres are like the ghetto pace car of Milwaukee.

It would look good with a Mint Chocolate Chip ice cream motif.

this is pretty sweet. I wonder how hard it would be to throw in a series 2 L67 and a 5spd from a F body with a long throw sifter on the floor into this bad boy..

I think we’re going to start seeing a lot of cars like this soon.

You may be on to something. Maybe the owners just get their jollies from the submitted offers.

It’s the car from the hit TV show Becker!

Every time i try to find a clean ‘81-’85 Delta 88 coupe, I find nothing but a bunch of donked ones in Milwaukee.

He’s probably one of those guys that won’t ever get back to you if you wanted to go look at you.

My grandparents had Park Aves and LeSabres for years, and would always get accosted in parking lots asking if they wanted to sell them.

My step dad bought my grandpa’s ‘83 Park Ave. after he died, and I drove it a bunch when I got my license. It was like driving butter on a cloud of pillows.

Sounds about right. A good buddy of mine had a purple ‘93 Crown Vic with chrome wheel well trim for years. It was pretty cherry when he got it, too. Not long after he bought it, as he was getting gas, a dude in a Buick whipped a U-turn as he passed the station, pulled up next to him. The guy jumped out of his car and said, “Daaaaaayum!!!! You wanna sell this car?”

Another friend of mine had an ‘84 Park Ave in high school. I loved that thing.
